The options in this tab have an impact on actions of the bot which are related to items.
Factors and necessary attributes for item compare
Attributes
Every item attribute has a factor. This factor describes the importance of the attribute for the character. The relation between two attribute values describes how much more important is one attribute than the other for the character.
Lets say the character has a factor of 1 for strength and a factor of 2 for intelligence. This tells the bot that 2 points of strength have the same value as 1 point of Intelligence for the character.
If a factor is set to 0.00, this attribute has no effect on the bots decision. Nevertheless the attribute CAN be a part of that item, if other attributes are high enough to be better then the other item.
To force the bot to rate only items with specified attributes the checkbox beside the attribute can be activated. This means that every item which has not ALL of the necessary attributes will be rated as the worse item. It is recommended to keep the number of necessary attributes as low as possible. This is usefull if for example a mage want to skip item without intelligence on it.
Example:
Options: Dexterity: 3.00, Constitution: 2.00, Luck: 1.50, Armor: 0.10, Epic: 1.10
Yellow Rubber Boots of Intensity
"The color is so shocking that
your enemies tremble in fear."
| Armor | 123 | * | 0.1 | = | 12 |
| Dexterity | +36 | * | 3 | = | 108 |
| Constitution | +36 | * | 2 | = | 72 |
| Luck | +36 | * | 1.5 | = | 54 |
| Epic | = | 246 * 1.1 | |||
| Item Value | = | 270 |
Hero's Boots of the Gambler
| Armor | 263 | * | 0.1 | = | 26 |
| Dexterity | +42 | * | 3 | = | 126 |
| Luck | +34 | * | 1.5 | = | 51 |
| Item Value | = | 203 |
When comparing this two items, the bot will calculate the item value. And the result is that the first item (Yellow Rubber Boots of Intensity) is better than the second one (Hero's Boots of the Gambler) because 270 > 203.
Ignore attributes for weapons
If this option is enabled, the bot will ignore all character attributes for weapons. Means for item compare of weapons only "Damage" and "Epic" will be left.
Ignore attributes for shields
If this option is enabled, the bot will ignore all character attributes for shields. Means for item compare of weapons only "Block" and "Epic" will be left.
Sell and equip automatically
The bot will equip and sell items automatically corresponding to the settings on this tab, if this option is enabled.
Sell and equip only new items
This option forces the bot to equip and sell only new item from quests or dungeons and not old item from the backpack. This option is only available if Sell and equip automatically is enabled.
Always keep epic items
This option forces the bot to never sell epic items. This option is only available if Sell and equip automatically is enabled.
Behaviour
This behaviour defines what the bot shall do with better, same or worse new item or item in the backpack.
There are several possible actions:
- Equip new, keep old
- Equip new, sell old (not for a better or worse compare result, not draw)
- Equip old, keep new
- Equip old, sell new
If "Equip new" is part of the behaviour will equip the new item or the item in the backpack.
If "Equip old" is part of the behaviour will keep the old item equipped.
If "Sell new" is part of the behaviour will sell the new item or the item in the backpack.
If "Sell old" is part of the behaviour will sell the old item.
If "Keep new" is part of the behaviour won't sell the new item.
If "Keep old" is part of the behaviour won't sell the old item.
